Suzuki Jimny 1.5 GL AT (Automatic) – Maya

Maya

Meet Maya, our grey three-door automatic. She's our second-most booked Jimny, right behind Harper. If you want something that doesn't draw attention but gets you everywhere you need to go, Maya's the choice.

The three-door configuration makes her compact - easy to park in tight Sea Point spots, straightforward to navigate narrow winelands roads. Rear passengers will need to fold the front seat forward to get in and out, so if you're frequently shuttling people in the back, consider one of our five-door options. For solo travelers or couples, it's a non-issue.

Maya's a GL model - the straightforward trim without extra complications. Automatic transmission, air conditioning, Apple CarPlay. Everything you actually need, nothing you don't. She's done the Garden Route, the West Coast, and every mountain pass worth driving. She handles it all without fanfare.

What you're getting

Your rental includes full comprehensive insurance with a maximum excess of R6,000 per incident. If repair costs come in under that, you pay the actual amount. Beyond R6,000, we cover it. This includes collision damage, theft, weather damage, and third-party liability up to R6,000,000.

The car comes with air conditioning, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, and 24/7 roadside assistance. If something goes wrong, you call us. We sort it out.

You can change your booking before pickup with minimal penalty. No deposit required. No hidden fees.

Pricing

The daily rate depends on your dates - you'll see it when you book.

The only additional charges that might apply:

If you drive further than your included kilometres, it's R12.75 per extra km. If you return the car without refueling, we'll fill it at pump price plus a R100 admin fee. Traffic fines come through at cost plus R100 admin. Any damage below your R6,000 excess gets charged at actual repair cost.

That's it. What you see is what you pay.

A few things to know
